Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival day in Nepal, Transfer to hotel
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport via international flight. Or optionally, you can use roadways from India and Tibet to enter Nepal. Our representative will greet you upon your arrival and transfer you to the hotel. Participate in a short orientation regarding the trip you are undertaking the next day. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu Half day sightseeing and preparation for hiking.
Begin this Kathmandu Half-day Sightseeing after breakfast. The professional tour guide and the driver will receive you from the hotel where you stay and transfer to the UNESCO World Heritages sites including Swayambhunath Stupa/Monkey Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple. First, we go to visit Swyombhunath Stupa Lovely monkeys, colorful prayer flags, holy Hindu temples and manis and serene woods make this visit more delightful. Also, go to visit Bouddhanath Stupa, a very impressive Buddhist pilgrimage site located in Bouddha to the north-east from central Thamel. Get some souvenirs here if you want. Now, go to see magnificent Pashupatinath temple and the Hindu cremation at the bank of holy Bagmati river. After this exploration, you will spend your free time for the preparation of the next day’s trip.
Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla Trek to Phakding (2,612 meter/8570 feet) – 3/4 hours.
You will be given the flight details by the trekking or tour company prior to your flight. You will be transferred to the airport. Normally, Lukla flights take place in early morning because the weather gets worse in the afternoon. This is a 35 minutes scenic flight. Arrive at Lukla airport, meet your team, explore Lukla airport and Lukla town. Head to the Phakding via traditional Sherpa settlements and lush forest. Overnight at lodge at Phakding.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meter/11,287 feet) -6/7 hours.
Leave the lodge after breakfast. Enter into Sagarmatha National Park from Jorsalle. Get your national park entry permit at Sagarmatha National Park Office located at Jirsalle. Celebrate the hike via traditional settlements and lush forest along Dudhkoshi River. Cross suspension bridge and ascend up to Namche Bazar. Observe traditional Tibetan markets, modern restaurants, hotels, cafes, and witness incredible Mt. Amadablam and visit Sherpa Cultural museum. Overnight at a hotel in Namche.
Day 05: Day trip, Namche to Khumjung Village and Everest View hotel (3390 meters/12,431 feet) to Namche-5/6 hours.
This is a day trip today. If you want to capture the sunrise from Hotel Everest view, rise early and hike up to the top, otherwise, you can begin your trek late in the morning after breakfast. Hike up to Hotel Everest view, celebrate stupendous Mt. Everest and other world’s tallest mountain peaks include Lhotse [8,516m/27,940ft], Mt Makalu [8,462m/27,762ft] and Cho Oyu. Trek to Khumjung village; enjoy a warm hospitality and local foods. Also, go to visit Tenzing Hillary School, enjoy the trek via lush rhododendron, juniper and oak. Trek back to Namche along the same trail. Overnight at a hotel in Namche.
Day 06: Namche to Lukla (2,860meter/ 9,383 feet)-6/7 hours.
Descend to the suspension bridge, cross it and trek along the Dudhkoshi river. Arrive at Jorsalle via lush forest and traditional settlements. Further, trek back to Phakding. Ascend to Lukla Town and wait for the next day’s flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at lodge in Lukla.
Day 07: Lukla (Tenzing Hillary Airport) to Kathmandu fly back.
Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla. This is a 35 minutes spectacular flight to Kathmandu. We will receive at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. Attend farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 08: Departure to next destination.
We will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport or any other destination you want in Kathmandu valley for your departure to the next destination. Have a great time ahead.
